General Information

IE-15.6kV solid insulated ring main unit is a new generation of environmentally friendly composite insulated ring main unit independently developed by our company. It is a fully insulated and fully sealed power supply unit. All live parts and switches of the primary part are completely sealed in an epoxy plastic shell, and there is no SF6 gas in the shell. The entire switchgear is not affected by the external environment, ensuring operational reliability and personal safety, and is maintenance-free.

The solid-sealed pole molded by the APG process encapsulates the current-carrying conductors such as the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber and the upper and lower outlet seats into a whole. The isolating switch is installed in the cavity of the solid-sealed pole, so that the main insulation method between phases is solid insulation. Single-phase insulated busbar design avoids serious faults such as phase-to-phase and grounding. The scalable busbar design enables unlimited expansion of functional units.

The ring network cabinet has the characteristics of simple structure, flexible operation, reliable interlocking, and easy installation. It is suitable for 50Hz/60Hz, 15.6/24 kV power systems and is widely used in industrial and civil cable ring networks and distribution network terminal projects. For the purpose of receiving and distributing electric energy, it is especially suitable for power distribution in urban residential areas, small substations, switching stations, cable branch boxes, box-type substations, industrial and mining enterprises, shopping malls, airports, subways, wind power generation, hospitals, stadiums, railways , tunnels and other places.

Functions and Features

Environmental Protection:

It is designed with environmentally friendly materials, does not use SF6 gas as arc extinguishing medium and insulation, and does not pollute the environment. The primary circuit uses a minimal contact design to ensure low energy consumption during operation.

Maintenance Free:

The solid insulated indoor AC high-voltage vacuum switchgear is in a fully sealed state except for the operating mechanism. This eliminates the need for cleaning and maintenance and reduces operation and maintenance costs. The IP rating can reach IP65.

Safety:

Since the touchable parts are shielded, the occurrence of personal electric shock accidents is eliminated and the safety of use is improved. The perfect interlocking interlocking system, the three-phase isolation fracture is clearly visible, avoiding misoperation accidents. The application of SF6 gas is completely eliminated, which avoids explosion accidents caused by the decrease in insulation performance and arc extinguishing ability of SF6 ring main unit due to insufficient gas pressure. Strengthen the phase isolation structure to prevent phase or multi-circuit short circuits from expanding or causing explosion accidents. There is an obvious visual window for the isolation fracture in front of the cabinet. You can check the isolation closing position, isolation separation position, and grounding closing position. The three working positions are convenient for on-site staff to check and determine the position of the isolation knife, which is very safe.

Ease of Operation:

The isolating switch and the grounding switch share one operating handle, so there is no need to identify or worry about mistakes. When the circuit breaker is running, the operating handles of the isolating switch and the grounding switch cannot be operated. The operating procedures are clear at a glance. Anyone with a little knowledge of electricians can operate them. Conduct complex skills training in sequence. This makes operation extremely simple and eliminates operational errors.

Use Environmental Conditions

  1. Generally operated/serviced under normal indoor conditions, in compliance with IEC 62271-1 and GB3906.
  2. Ambient air temperature: -40ºC~+40ºC.
  3. Relative air humidity: the daily average value is not greater than 95%, and the monthly average value is not greater than 90%.
  4. The altitude is not more than 1500 meters.
  5. The surrounding air should not be significantly polluted by dust, water vapor, salt spray, corrosive gases or flammable gases; the outdoor type can be used in harsh environmental conditions. Especially suitable for applications in plateau, coastal, alpine, high pollution and other areas.
  6. There is no severe vibration at the installation site, and the earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees.
  7. When the above usage environment conditions cannot meet the usage requirements, the user shall negotiate with the manufacturer.
