ZW32-12kV primary and secondary integrated outdoor pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker, rated voltage 12kV, three-phase AC 50Hz/60Hz outdoor primary switching equipment, mainly used for breaking and closing load current, overload current and short-circuit current in the power system . It is suitable for protection and control in power distribution systems of substations and industrial and mining enterprises, and is more suitable for rural power grids and places with frequent operations.
This product is matched with the controller to meet the requirements of the distribution automation system and can reliably and effectively complete the traditional recloser function.
Product Structure
- Adopt a three-phase separated column structure, and install the three-phase primary circuit in the insulating sleeve of each phase. When a single-phase failure occurs, it will not cause a three-phase short circuit.
- Using a new miniaturized vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, ceramic shell, copper-chromium contacts, and longitudinal magnetic field arc extinguishing method, the breaking performance is stable and reliable, the contacts have little wear, and there is no danger of burning or explosion.
- The vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is installed in an insulating sleeve, and a silicone rubber sleeve is used to seal the entire vacuum arc extinguishing chamber in the insulating sleeve, which eliminates short circuit failures caused by condensation and is maintenance-free for 20 years.
- The insulation cylinder is made of outdoor epoxy resin material or silicone rubber material. It has good hydrophobicity and anti-pollution ability and can be used in harsh outdoor environments.
- The operating mechanism can use either a permanent magnet operating mechanism or a spring operating mechanism. The permanent magnet mechanism is small in size, reliable in performance, and has a mechanical life of more than 10,000 times.
- It adopts a fully sealed structure and the operating mechanism is installed in the box. It has good sealing performance and improves moisture-proof and rust-proof performance. There is no transformer oil or sulfur hexafluoride gas in the box, which meets the requirements of oil-free transformation and environmental protection.
- The surface of the box adopts advanced Dacromet plating process or stainless steel material, which has excellent corrosion resistance.
- Install an external protective current transformer and a composite controller with anti-inrush function on phase A and phase C of the circuit breaker respectively. When an inrush current occurs on the line, the circuit breaker is delayed for a period of time to avoid the inrush current and prevent malfunction of the circuit breaker; when a fault occurs on the line, the circuit breaker can be opened quickly. Transformer ratio is configured according to user requirements.
- The circuit breaker can be equipped with a remote control device under the pole, and the remote control can be used to open and close the switch under the pole.
- The circuit breaker can be equipped with an external PT or electronic PT to provide circuit breaker operating power.
- The circuit breaker can be equipped with a reclosing controller and a sectionalizer controller to form an automatic recloser and an automatic sectionalizer. It is an ideal device for realizing distribution network automation.

Usage Environment and Conditions
- Ambient air temperature: -40°C~+40°C, daily temperature difference 25°C.
- Altitude: no more than 2000 meters.
- Wind pressure: no more than 700Pa (equivalent to wind speed of 35m/s).
- Air pollution level: Level IV.
- Earthquake intensity: no more than 8 degrees.
- Installation location: a location without flammability, explosion hazard, chemical corrosion or severe vibration.

Transportation, Acceptance and Storage
- During transportation, the entire unit must be packed into a closed packaging box and fixed. It must not be turned over or tilted during transportation, and shockproof measures must be taken. When carrying the circuit breaker with bare hands, please lift the guardrails on both sides of the circuit breaker. It is strictly prohibited to lift the incoming and outgoing insulating sleeves. When lifting the circuit breaker, you must hook the lifting device on the box.
- Acceptance. After receiving the product, the user should perform the following tasks:
- Check whether the packaging is damaged.
- After unpacking, check whether the switch inlet and outlet casings are cracked, whether the box is deformed, whether the opening and closing instructions are complete, whether the product nameplate and certificate are consistent with the order form, and whether the packing list is consistent with the actual product.
- Check whether the documents, accessories and spare parts are complete against the product packing list.
- Check whether the technical parameters and product certificate on the vacuum circuit breaker nameplate meet the order requirements.
- The contact parameters and mechanical characteristic parameters of the circuit breaker have been adjusted during factory inspection. Users do not need to unpack and inspect the circuit breaker. They can install it after performing a withstand voltage test as required. Mechanical characteristics inspection can be carried out as required if conditions permit.
- Storage. The vacuum circuit breaker and controller should be stored in a dry, ventilated, moisture-proof, shock-proof and harmful gas-proof room. For long-term storage, the environment should be regularly checked to see if it meets the requirements. Packing, unpacking and storage should be done in a dry room, and the products and components should be checked for completeness and consistency. And the overlap height of the controller body shall not exceed 3 layers.
Installation and Commissioning
- Inspection and Commissioning Before Installation.
- Check whether the circuit breaker model and specifications are consistent with the order contract.
- Check whether the accompanying documents and attachments are complete.
- Check whether the surface of the circuit breaker is bruised and whether the insulating parts are damaged or cracked.
- Check whether the box is deformed and check its sealing.
- Whether the fasteners are loose.
- Is there any abnormal noise inside the box?
- Manually or electrically operated circuit breaker is closed and opened 10 times, and the opening and closing should be reliable.
h, conduct an overcurrent test, and the overcurrent setting value should meet the requirements.
- Use the power frequency withstand voltage method to check the vacuum degree of the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber. When the circuit breaker is in the open position, apply a power frequency voltage of 48kV between the fractures for 1 minute and there should be no flashover or breakdown.
- There should be no flashover or breakdown when a power frequency voltage of 42kV is applied between phases and to the ground of the circuit breaker for 1 minute.
- When the product is damaged or has other questions, it is recommended to take photos of the damage on site and notify the supplier in a timely manner.
- Installation.
- Pay attention to safety when lifting. You must hook the four lifting rings on the box and lift it horizontally.
- Fix the circuit breaker on the mounting bracket with bolts. The mounting surface should be flat. If the four mounting points are not on the same plane, washers should be added to prevent the overall structure of the circuit breaker from deforming due to stress.
- When the circuit breaker is connected to the busbar, the outlet end of the circuit breaker cannot be subjected to permanent tension, pressure or torque.
- After installation, the circuit breaker should be inspected and cleaned.
Maintenance
- The circuit breaker should be inspected every five years to clean the surface of the insulating parts, check the wear of the moving parts of the mechanism, and inject grease into the transmission parts.
- Check whether the fasteners are loose and whether the clamping rings and circlips are deformed or fallen off. If so, they should be restored to normal status in time.
- When the circuit breaker is left for a long time or rarely operated, the movable part may be blocked. If it is equipped with a spring operating mechanism, the circuit breaker should be stored and closed and opened at least 5 times a year. If the configured permanent magnet mechanism controller loses power, you need to use an external power supply to charge the internal capacitor of the controller, and then perform at least 5 closing and opening operations.
- Conduct a power frequency withstand voltage test to determine whether the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is chronically leaking or whether the insulation strength of other insulating parts is reduced.
- For places with frequent operations, attention should be paid to the wear of the contacts, and it cannot be used beyond the allowable number of short-circuit interruptions and mechanical life of the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber.
- Things to note:
- During maintenance, the circuit breaker should be in non-energy storage and open state, and all power supplies should be disconnected. Due to energy storage and closing
The state springs all accumulate energy. If you are not careful during maintenance, the movement of the mechanism may cause injury to human hands.
- Maintenance should be performed by professionals.
- After maintenance, especially after replacing parts or readjusting, the mechanical characteristics of the switch should be tested to ensure that it meets the technical conditions.
