IE-12kV/630A pole-mounted SF6 circuit breaker is a complete set of pole-mounted switch products developed in accordance with primary and secondary fusion standards. The switch has a compact structure, reasonable layout, and complete functions. All indicators meet the primary and secondary fusion technical requirements; built-in high Precision current transformers, zero-sequence current transformers, and zero-sequence voltage sensors have the characteristics of wide measurement range, high measurement accuracy, stable reliability, and small power loss. The complete analog quantities are convenient for accurately determining various line faults.

The 12kV-630A pole-mounted SF6 circuit breaker cooperates with the FTU and has intelligent functions such as measurement, protection, control, signaling, telecontrol and networking, online monitoring and diagnosis, accurate judgment of grounding points, line loss measurement, and fault recording. It is suitable for 12kV overhead distribution lines and user branch lines. It can quickly separate the fault section and isolate the fault within the user boundary section to prevent user faults from spreading to the entire distribution line and causing large-scale power outages.

First and Second Fusion Features

 

Primary SF6 Circuit Breaker Switch Part:

  1. This product has significant advantages such as simple structure, excellent arc extinguishing and insulation performance, low operating power, high rated parameters, long electrical life and long non-maintenance period.
  2. The switch box is made of 304 stainless steel to meet the corrosion resistance requirements for permanent use.
  3. The main circuit uses copper-tungsten alloy contacts, and the contact fingers adopt copper-tungsten alloy plum petal type, which has strong breaking capacity, large current withstand, high reliability, large contact opening distance when opening, and no leakage current between the fractures.
  4. Equipped with a high-pressure pressure relief device, even if an internal failure occurs, the box will not be damaged due to a sudden increase in gas pressure in the box.
  5. Install a low-pressure locking alarm device (optional). When the circuit breaker is under excessively low pressure, the low-pressure locking alarm device can effectively mechanically lock the operating mechanism and provide an auxiliary contact to the controller, thereby greatly improving the switching efficiencyand operational reliability.
  6. It has terminal incoming and outgoing lines and insulated cable incoming and outgoing lines. Insulated cable incoming and outgoing lines can effectively avoid short circuit faults between incoming and outgoing line terminals caused by external factors.
  7. Advanced porcelain casing technology for incoming and outgoing lines can be used to effectively prevent corona discharge during switch operation. Organic insulating sleeves can also be provided to completely prevent the rupture of porcelain bottles caused by external forces and lightning and cracking caused by porcelain factors.
  8. Configure CT/RVT protection device: In order to prevent overcurrent and CT open circuit of the current measuring device, the overvoltage product of the voltage measuring device is equipped with a CT/RVT protection module.
  9. Configure voltage sensor protection device: prevent overvoltage of phase voltage and zero sequence voltage sensors.

Installation and Adjustment

  1. Check whether the circuit breaker model and specifications are consistent with the order contract.
  2. Check whether the accompanying documents and attachments are complete.
  3. Check whether the surface of the circuit breaker is bruised and whether the insulating parts are damaged or cracked.
  4. Check whether the box is deformed and check its sealing.
  5. Are the fasteners loose?
  6. Manually or electrically operate the circuit breaker to close and open 10 times, and the opening and closing should be reliable.
  7. Check whether the pressure gauge pointer points to the green area.
  8. Carry out overcurrent test, and the overcurrent setting value should meet the requirements.
  9. When the product is damaged or has other questions, it is recommended to take photos of the damage on site and notify the manufacturer in time.
  10. Pay attention to safety when lifting. You must hook the four lifting rings on the box and lift it horizontally.
  11. Fix the circuit breaker on the mounting bracket with bolts. The mounting surface should be flat. If the four mounting points are not on the same plane, washers should be added to adjust to prevent the overall structure of the circuit breaker from being deformed due to stress.
  12. When the circuit breaker is connected to the busbar, the outlet end of the circuit breaker cannot be subjected to permanent tension, pressure or torque.
  13. After installation, the circuit breaker should be inspected and cleaned.

Maintenance

  1. The circuit breaker should be inspected regularly and the contamination on the surface of the insulating parts should be removed.
  2. Check regularly whether the pressure gauge pointer is in the green area. If the pressure gauge pointer is close to the red area, contact the manufacturer for maintenance in time.
  3. For places with frequent operations, attention should be paid to the wear of the contacts, and the circuit breaker cannot be used beyond the allowable short-circuit breaking times and mechanical life.
  4. Things to note:
  5. During maintenance, the circuit breaker should be in non-energy storage and open state, and all power supplies should be disconnected. Since the springs in the energy storage and closing states have accumulated energy, if you are not careful during maintenance, the movement of the mechanism may injure your hands.
  6. Maintenance should be performed by professionals.
  7. After maintenance, especially after replacing parts or readjusting, the mechanical characteristics of the switch should be tested to ensure that it meets the technical conditions.
